Submission of abstracts

From the 13th to the 16th of May 2024, the 19th EuroBlight workshop will be held in Lunteren, The Netherlands. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you with an exciting, diverse and relevant program during this week, and strongly encourage you to submit an abstract for either an oral or a poster presentation.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is the 11th of December 2023.

When submitting your abstract, please follow these guidelines:

  • Abstracts should be uploaded as pdf or word file. 

  • The abstract must not exceed 250 words.

  • Abstracts must be written and presented in English. Linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the authors.

  • The file name should be: NAME OF FIRST AUTHOR_TITLE OF ABSTRACT.pdf

The abstract must refer to one of the topics of the conference and if it relates to the plenum sessions or the subgroup sessions:

  • Plenum - Late and early blight - importance and characteristics of the pathogens. Status in Europe and beyond

  • Plenum - Epidemiology and host resistance

  • Plenum - Control strategies

  • Plenum - Alternaria

  • Subgroup -  Control strategies

  • Subgroup -  Pathogen characteristics and host resistance

  • Subgroup -  Alternaria

Presentations in plenum will be 15-20 minutes. Presentations in the subgroups will be 10-15. The time allocated for each presentation will depend of the number of presentions offered combined with priorities by the scientific committee. See programme from our last workshop in Ascona, 2022.
