I am a part of the section for Agricultural Systems and Sustainability. My curiosity covers all aspects of sustainability transitions, both within and beyond the agrifood sector.
I aim to engage in interdisciplinary research, with an educational background in the earth sciences but now focusing primarily on qualitative and mixed methodologies.
Greenwashing or sustainability driver? I am interested in how corporate ESG reporting activities, and the associated value-chain data collection, can be leveraged to accelerate the green transition within the agrifood sector. This involves examining themes such as the harmonization of value chain data collection, transparency, questions of accountability and the integration of sustainability metrics that can drive sector-wide change and improved decision-making.
I am teaching in the MSc course "Agricultural Policies and Environmental Regulation" and the MSc course "Food Systems and the Green Transition".
