”Zero Greenhouse Gas Emission in High Productive Agriculture” - konferenceprogrammet er nu offentliggjort
Vi står overfor en stor udfordring, når dansk landbrug skal være klimaneutralt om mindre end 10 år. Det kræver nye teknologier, metoder og strategier. Forskningskonferencen ”Zero Green House Gas Emission in High Productive Agriculture” sætter nye innovative muligheder for reducering af klimagasser på en effektiv og bæredygtig måde d. 3.-5. maj 2022. Og det endelige program er nu fastsat.
Når Aarhus Universitet e. 3.-5. maj er værter for den internationale konference ”Zero Greenhouse Gas Emission in High Productive Agriculture” (ZEA) bliver det med nogle af verdens førende forskere som keynote speakers. Emnet for konferencen er også bydende nødvendigt, dansk landbrug har en deadline i 2030. Her skal erhvervet, på lige fod med mange andre erhverv, være klimaneutralt.
I forskningsområderne og i mange virksomheder er der stor viden om mulighederne for at reducere udledningerne af klimagasser fra landbruget. Men skal denne viden nyttiggøres, så skal den omsættes til teknologier, som erhvervet er villige til at investere i. For det er dyrt at udvikle nye innovative klimaløsninger.
Der er et tvingende behov for at øge udviklingen og implementeringen af helt nye, effektive og omkostningssikre klimateknologier, som hurtigt kan anvendes i praksis, hvis ikke målet om en reduktion på 70 procent skal ”koste” betydelig reduktion af dansk fødevareproduktion. Og det er netop temaet på ”ZEA”-konferencen, som afholdes d. 3.-5. maj 2022 i Novo Nordisk Fondens lokaler på Tuborg Havnevej 19, 2600 Hellerup.
Endeligt program
Når forskere fra hele verden mødes i Hellerup til maj, bliver det for at beskrive udfordringer og finde løsninger på landbrugets klimakrise, og hvilke teknologier, der kan spille en rolle, og hvordan. Det handler ikke alene om teknologierne, men også hvordan de kan bringes i anvendelse på en fornuftig, driftssikker og økonomisk fornuftig måde.
Keynote speakers fra blandt andet USA, New Zealand, Tyskland, Italien og Kina vil lægge op til debat indenfor konferencens syv temaer. Der er med andre ord rig mulighed for at deltage i debatten om, hvilken vej landbruget skal bevæge sig for at opnå målet om klimaneutralitet.
