I am a PhD student in the sections of Crop Genetics and Biotechnolgy and Crop Health , focusing on the biology of Phytophthora infestans and its interactions with potato hosts. My research combines molecular analyses, functional studies of resistance genes, Agrobacterium-mediated transformations, and pathogen assays. By investigating how P. infestans overcomes resistance, I aim to provide insights that support the breeding of potato varieties with durable resistance.
