I have a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, M.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture and Plant Breeding, and a Ph.D in Crop Physiology. I am from the US and was educated mainly in the Midwestern Corn Belt (Iowa). I have experience working in both academic and non-profit sectors serving various agricultural systems across the US , as well as at the CGIAR center in Mexico (CIMMYT).
My research seeks to understand how we can design cropping systems to most efficiently leverage and support ecological processes, including weed control. I utilize field experiments, data science, models, and other people to help me do this.
