Climate change will affect many aspects of agricultural production systems, including arable and livestock production systems. The effects will involve both the productivity of the agricultural systems and their effects on ecosystems goods and services.
The research in this area involves quantifying impacts of climate change through experimental analysis, modeling and scenario analyses. It also involves development of methodologies for analyzing adaptation to climate change in agricultural systems as well as conducting such assessments, mostly in interdisciplinary project teams.
