Main subject area: Water vapour sorption in soils, temperature effects on soil water movement
The availability of advanced equipment for measuring soil water vapor sorption (dry-region soil water retention) offers a distinctive chance to explore the impact of soil temperature and particle size on sorption magnitude, sorption hysteresis, and their subsequent effects on estimating soil properties through water sorption. This thesis will employ state-of-the-art equipment to measure soil water vapor sorption and utilize soil samples varying in clay mineralogy, soil texture, and organic matter content.
