AGRO’s education programmes span the spectrum from plant and soil science to agroecology, climate, environment, and future food systems. Across bachelor’s, master’s and PhD-level education, the department works closely with current societal challenges and equips students with both strong scientific foundations and practical understanding of agriculture and land use in transition.
The programmes combine field-based learning, laboratory work, systems thinking and collaboration with industry and authorities, giving students insight into both research and real-world application.
At the same time, AGRO continuously develops its educational portfolio in line with emerging challenges and opportunities within agriculture, bioeconomy, sustainability and green transition — with several new and exciting educational initiatives currently under development.
