About the campaign
Objective: To establish the status of downy mildew in onion-growing areas in Denmark, including conventional and organic production systems as well as home gardens grown by citizens interested in onion production.
Where: We aim to cover the whole of Denmark, so Innovate-IPM invites all stakeholders in the onion industry in Denmark to participate in the campaign.
What information is required: Cultivar name, Location name, Growth stage and severity of downy mildew, and one or more photos of the plant.

Where to find the results: Results and photos are publicly available on the MildewAlert dashboard.
Samples for genotype and race analysis: If you find unusual attacks (e.g. attacks on a cultivar that is supposed to be very resistant or a possible fungicide control failure), then please contact your advisor or consultant. He can decide if a sample should be sent to the Innovate-IPM lab for further analysis.
