Meetings and research visits
In November 2012 Dr. Yue Jin from University of Minnesota was visiting GRRC at Aarhus University. Dr. Yue Jin was the first to identify Berberis as the alternate host for Puccinia striiformis. During his visit activities in WP2 in the RUSTFIGHT project was discussed with special focus on the infection of Berberis plants and how to establish an experimental system for sexual recombination in P. striiformis.
